Samsung Tab S4

The Galaxy Tab S4 is the new flagship 10.5-inch tablet Samsung is aiming toward people who want a device that’s lighter device (ultrabook) while still has a keyboard and pen. That strategy revolves around giving the Tab S4 a desktop-style environment with individual windows and improved multitasking called Samsung DeX.
Moving to the sides, you’ll find a USB Type-C port, headphone jack, and quad stereo speakers. These speakers are tuned by AKG and support Dolby Atmos, resulting in some pretty big sound. Galaxy Tab S4 does  not come with a fingerprint scanner, but will come with a combination of an iris scanner and face unlock which Samsung has termed “Intelligent Scan”, which is the first in tablet

What really piqued my interest from this tablet was Samsung’s new Dex mode. You’ve got multiple application windows, drag/drop stuff from one window to another in some cases, if you connect a Bluetooth mouse you can right click to show context sensitive menus. The DeX interface supports the pressure sensitive S-Pen as well, but the barrel button on the pen doesn’t do anything at all. No right click, no S-Pen interface Samsung has opted to implement the same technology into its new S4 tablet. The idea is great in theory, but there are many caveats Samsung will have to get around before I even begin to think about replacing my laptop with this. Dex mode ls formatted similarly to a traditional Windows PC, so many will feel comfortable using it. That being said, it’s still an Android skin, with all the usual accompanying quirks. Because it’s still Android, Dex has to run Android apps. This means you’ll have to use the mobile version of your browser to visit the mobile version of whatever website you want to open.
The Tab S4 effectively stretches the site from a portrait orientation to a landscape one, which distorts pages. Many websites will prompt you to download their app from the Play Store for a better experience, but they’ll be stuck in a portrait orientation, which really doesn’t take advantage of the Tab S4’s screen. If you’re using Chrome, we recommend you toggle the “Desktop site” option, though you’ll have to do it with every new tab. Some of Google’s Android apps still don’t support landscape mode though.

Camera
Camera on tablet is never a selling point...perhaps the front as could be used for video call.
The rear camera has a range of settings ; HDR, Hyperlapse, Beauty, Stickers to name a few. Below are shots taking from it

Conclusion

Good  - Gaming
Moderate - Camera
Good - Aesthetic
Good - MultiMedia

Tab S4 is made for those (2 in mind) who love to use

1. Tablets as productivity tool
With its  keyboard (not inlcuded) in Dex mode, introduced a new experience. However, due to weak optimisation in android, experience could be crippled.
2. Media junkie, it is a pleasure but comes with a heavy price tag (a Huawei Mediapad M5 could be an alternate).
Last but not least, there is Fortnite support (it comes with a special skin)
